Nursery Sports Day- Go for Glory Championship 2017

DPS GBN, Nursery Wing organized the Sports Day- Go for Glory Championship, 2017 on February 22 and 23, 2017 in the School. The spirit of friendly competition came alive on this day. The field was set and the props were in place for the little champs to show their skills. The Chief Guests of the two day event were Dr. Satyapal Singh, Director Physical Education, Acharya Narendar Dev College, Delhi University and Professor Ms Sudershan Pathak, Ex Director of Physical Education and Sports, Delhi University, presently Chairperson, Delhi Social Welfare Board, Government of NCT of Delhi. The audience comprising of the teachers and proud parents had a captivating afternoon watching the children participate with great enthusiasm and exuberance.

The welcome song, yoga, PT drills and dance were a dazzling display that saw the field being transformed into an astonishingly colourful playground. The children participated in a variety of individual and team sporting events. The races were based on nursery rhymes which the children had been taught through the year. This especially ear marked the joy and fun they had while performing the races. Parents were also invited to participate in the races organized especially for them.

A standing ovation, a never ending uproar of appreciation, whistles and more echoed through our premises! Nursery Wing students had mesmerized everyone with their performances. The wonderful day ended with grandeur, fanfare as our children posed endlessly for photographs.
