IGNITE 2.0 – Innovation with Impact

Delhi Public School, Gautam Buddh Nagar, proudly acknowledges the achievement of its team IGNITE 2.0, who participated in the prestigious competition and bagged second position in the event “THINK. TINKER. THRIVE” with their project SPECTRUM+. The team comprised Atharv Kapoor (XI-C), Kriti Verma (XI-G), Rushmeet Chugh (XI-G), and Mishika Rana (XI-G).

SPECTRUM+ is a live, student-built digital platform designed to promote mental well-being, creativity, and inclusivity. It provides a safe space for students to share emotions, express themselves through art and writing, and connect with a community that celebrates individuality—especially supporting those navigating identity and mental health challenges.

On the day of the competition, IGNITE 2.0 captivated the jury with a flawless presentation and professional delivery. The highlight of the event was when judges themselves registered on the platform during the demonstration, a strong testimony to its instant appeal and user-friendliness.

In the Q&A round, the students confidently addressed queries on the sustainability of the platform, future development plans, and its integration with schools and NGOs. Their thoughtful and insightful responses reflected the project’s real-world potential and long-term vision.

This achievement is not only a milestone for the students but also a reflection of DPS GBN’s commitment to nurturing innovation, empathy, and leadership. IGNITE 2.0 has proven that when young minds come together with creativity and compassion, they can design solutions that truly make a difference.
