Story Telling Activity
Stories help to build a strong foundation of meaningful and experiential learning by helping the child’s imagination to flourish, building their vocabulary & inculcating love for books and stories. The story of “Little Red Riding Hood” was dramatized for Nursery students on September 1st, 2017 by the teachers. The young Dipsites thoroughly enjoyed an interactive story telling session which gave them a great opportunity to learn from it. Here is a glimpse of the story telling session organised for the little learners at DPS, GBN.

Helper's Corner
Carpenters! Plumbers! Doctors and more - our community helpers ! A community helper is one who helps others by providing a service of some kind.Thus, to identify and relate with them and to understand the importance of each job, Nursery Wing organized a Helper's Corner on November 16th, 2016. Few children from each class were asked dress and enact the role of a particular worker.They also spoke a few lines on the assigned helper. These project-based activities help the students actively explore real world experiences and acquire a deeper knowledge of the subject.

Pre-nursery section of DPS , GBS organized fancy dress competition on theme helpers to help children learn about our community helpers and to enhance stage confidence of children. Children performed really well on the stage.
